How do I register for Assembly?

Event registration will open in 2026; details to be released as they become available. 

Is this meeting mandatory?

There will always be challenges pertaining to travel, as it means time away from families, friends, and clients. Regarding content, the firm's annual compliance meeting requirement for Arete Wealth registered advisors will be met by attending this meeting. If you are unable to attend Assembly, it's mandated registered representative meet the annual compliance requirement with additional online training. The details of those online hours will be shared after Assembly. We hope the nature of the content, the appeal of the culture-building, and the expenses the firm is absorbing on your behalf will make the trip both feasible and worthwhile. If you have any challenges preventing you from attending, please notify us.

What is the start time and end time of the event?

The conference kicks off with a welcome lunch on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. Sessions run until the conference close on Friday, Sept. 4th at 11:30am. For those travelling into California, the hotel will accept early arrivals on Tuesday, Sept. 1st.

How do I make a hotel reservation?

You will have access to an exclusive discounted nightly room rate, once our room block is released.

Are hotel early check-ins and late check-outs available?

Given the size of our group, hotels cannot guarantee early check-ins or late check-outs. After your reservation is made, follow up directly with the hotel regarding this.

Is parking available?

Parking details will be available once the hotel is selected.

What airport is recommended?

The Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA) is 7 miles from the property.
The next closest airport is Los Angeles (LAX), which is 110 miles, or 2 hours. 

Is transportation provided from the airport to the hotel?

Given you are responsible for your own flight arrangements, there is a much higher convenience when you also arrange onsite transportation upon your arrival. Many options to arrive at the hotel are available, including hired ride apps like Lyft and Uber. 

What costs are involved?

Registration for advisors, staff, and approved guests is complimentary. The firm covers all meals, events, and materials throughout your time with us. Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses.

We will lighten the burden of your hotel fees by negotiating a special room rate for Assembly attendees. 

What is the event dress code?

Business casual or golf attire are recommended attire styles throughout the conference.

May I bring a guest?

Yes; you may bring one personal guest with you, who will have access to all of our meals and excursions. 

Will the event be recorded or live-streamed?

No; Arete Wealth Assembly is always an in-person event. The specific content and experiences of this meeting are designed to be in person.
